How can there be bad kittens? I look around at the shredded piles of toilet paper and I see only good kittens who sometimes do bad things. That said, it is pretty hard to shake the sense that Tangerine is truly a bad, bad kitten pretending at occasional goodness -- what's with all the glowing demon-eyes in the photos!!

Hockey Night in Canada

Stephen Colbert, of The Colbert Report, recently announced that he has acquired the rights to the Hockey Night in Canada theme song, CBC having goofed up and losing control of Canada's other National Anthem. On the show, Stephen Colbert tries to provoke Canada by playing the song really loud, waving USA flags, and doing other such objectionable things.

I told my lame-o brother to watch that episode of The Colbert Report because it is pretty funny, but he couldn't find it -- he's a closet AOL user and is not too sure about using that newfangled Google and all.

So here ya go, Bro, a link to the Globe and Mail's (Toronto's national newspaper) coverage of the story, complete with Stephen Colbert's taunt!

Free Goodies!

TransUnion has just lost a court case and has to provide the entire planet with free credit scoring for a period of time. And maybe some cash -- they're kind of vague about that part. Go here to sign up! I did!

Mum, don't bother chasing after this deal -- you have to be living in the US to do it. Waitaminute! Don't you have a US dollar chequing account? I'm sure that kind of financial instrument really opens doors down here. They might be swayed if you tell them about that!
